MERIDIAN —  Laura Suzann Patton and Thomas Dale Boyte II, both of Brandon, were married on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Chapel in historic Magnolia Springs, Ala., with the Rev. George G. Riggall officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dowe Patton III of Quitman, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dale Boyte of Brookhaven and Mrs. Stephanie Lynn Watson of Florence.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Ralph Austin Smith Jr. of Quitman and the late Mrs. Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dowe Patton Jr.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Dale Boyte and the late Mrs. Shirley Watson.

    Music for the ceremony and the reception was provided by Phil Proctor of Mobile, Ala., soloist and guitarist.

    Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an A-line gown of illusion lace over satin, featuring an empire waistline embellished with intricate beaded detail, an illusion lace back and a chapel-length train.

    Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Ginny Patton Sargeant of Quitman and Aldershot, England.

    The father of the bridegroom was best man.

    Scripture reader was Skye Wegner Carney of Katy, Texas.

    Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Jesse’s Restaurant in Magnolia Springs.

    After a honeymoon at Point Clear and Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Brandon, where the bride is employed as a neonatal intensive care nurse at University of Mississippi Medical Center, and the bridegroom is a lead oil and gas production operator for Shamrock Energy Solutions.
