DeLee, Newell

MERIDIAN —

    Anthony and Wanda DeLee of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Esther, to Austin Craig Newell, son of Michael and Carol Newell of Collinsville.

    The wedding will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Mississippi College’s Provine Chapel.

    Miss DeLee is the granddaughter of James and Catherine DeLee of Alexandria, La. and Raymond and Esther Schexnayder of New Roads, La.

    The bride-elect was the 2011 salutatorian for Parklane Academy in McComb. She is a senior at Mississippi College working towards a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.

    While attending Mississippi College, she is a member of Nenamoosha Social Tribe, Mortar Board, Phi Mu Epsilon and SGA Senate.

    Mr. Newell is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lee Newell of DeKalb, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Trivitt of Daleville and Joan and the late Cliff Henderson of Meridian.

    The bridegroom elect is a 2011 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in architectural engineering technologies. He is a 2009 graduate of Meridian Community College and a 2007 graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

    Mr. Newell is currently employed with WGK Engineers and Surveyors in Clinton.

    A reception will be held at Mississippi College’s Anderson Hall following the ceremony.
