Fant, Hinton

MERIDIAN —     Roger and Debbie Fant of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Leigh, to Kasey Ray Hinton, son of Ken and Becky Hinton of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 5 p.m., at Jones Chapel Church of God.

    Miss Fant is the granddaughter of Dale and Margie McKelvaine, and the late Norman Fant and the late Willa Fant, all of Meridian,

    The bride-elect received an associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

    Miss Fant is employed in the Nursery/NICU department at Rush Foundation Hospital.

    Mr. Hinton is the grandson of the late Sam Matthews and the late Ouida Matthews of Meridian, and the late Pat Hinton and the late Ann Hinton of Soso.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian Community College and Clarkdale High School. He also attended Meridian Community College.

    While attending MCC, he was a member of the Eagle Baseball Team.

    Mr. Hinton currently attends Delta State University in Cleveland, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a member of the Delta State Baseball Team. He plans to attend physical therapy school at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

    A reception will be held at the church.
