Deen, Clayton

MERIDIAN —     Mr. and Mrs. Robert Timothy Deen of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Claire, to John O’Neal Clayton III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John O’Neal Clayton, Jr., of Nashville, Tenn.

    The wedding will be Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 5 p.m., at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Claire Cowan Singletary and the late Edward B. Singletary Jr., Mrs. Elizabeth Box Deen, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Deen Jr., all of  Meridian.

    Miss Deen received a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a master of business administration degree from Mississippi State University. She graduated salutatorian of her class at Meridian High School in 2003.  

    Miss Deen is a certified public account and senior financial analyst for Cigna-HealthSpring in Nashville.  

    The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Hooper Huggins and the late Mr. and Mrs. John O’Neal Clayton, all of Nashville.  

    Mr. Clayton graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science degree in consumer affairs. He is also a graduate of Franklin Road Academy in Nashville.

    Mr. Clayton is a realtor and property management director for Neal Clayton Realtors LLC of Nashville.

    A reception will be held at the MSU Riley Center, Meridian, following the ceremony.
