Covert, Aubic

MERIDIAN —     Mr. and Mrs. William T. Covert of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kacy Elizabeth, to John “Jack” Lawrence, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Aubic IV of Natchez.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Gazebo on the Natchez Bluff in Natchez.

    Miss Covert is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Covert of Meridian and Mrs. Mary E. Clay of Collinsville and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rodgers of Collinsville.

    The bride-elect received a master of occupational therapy degree from University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is also a graduate of Mississippi State University, East Central Community College and West Lauderdale High School.

    While attending ECCC and WLHS, she was a member of the cheerleading and soccer teams. She was also a MSU cheerleader.

    Miss Covert is employed by TherEx, Natchez.

    Mr. Aubic is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Aubic II of Natchez and Mrs. Betty Smith and the late Harold Smith of Natchez.

    The bridegroom-elect magna cum laude graduate of University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he received a doctorate of physical therapy degree. He is also a graduate of Mississippi State University and Cathedral High School.

    Mr. Aubic is employed by TherEx, Natchez.

    A reception will be held at the Natchez Grand Hotel.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
