Knudsen, Rawson

MERIDIAN —     Mrs. Clark Knudsen (Amy) of Montgomery, Ala., and Mr. John George Knudsen III of Wetumpka, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Grace Knudsen to Joshua Stephen Rawson, son of Dr. and Mrs. James Stephen Rawson (Julie) of Columbus.

    The wedding will be Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Pintlala Baptist Church in Hope Hull, Ala.

    Miss Knudsen is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald William Clark (Margaret) and Mrs. John George Knudsen Jr. (Luella) and the late Mr. John George Knudsen Jr., all of Batavia, Ill.

    The bride-electgraduate of the University of Alabama, where she received her bachelor of science degree in the history of art, minoring in the study of religion and culture. She is also a graduate of The Montgomery Academy.

    Miss Knudsen is employed by Freaky Fast, LLC, in Montgomery as business manager.

    Mr. Rawson is the grandson of the late Mr. Jessie Dallas Brown of Wetumpka and Mary Brown Cooper of Wadsworth, Ala. and Mr. and Mrs. C.H. “Gabe” Rawson (Rachel) of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Marion Military Institute in Marion, Ala., where he received his bachelor of science degree in environmental conservation from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Alabama. He also did complete extensive coursework at James Cook University while residing in Cairins, Queensland Australia.

    Mr. Rawson is employed by Freaky Fast, LLC as vice president and general manager.

     A reception will be held at the couple’s new home at Horseshoe Lake in Sprague, Ala.
