Prather, Polk

MERIDIAN —     Pamela and David Prather of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Keating Elizabeth, to Philip Douglas Polk, son of Carol and Robert Polk of Jackson.

    The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in Meridian.

    Miss Prather is the granddaughter of Ray and Muriel Prather of Meridian, and Mary and Mike Wadsworth of Meridian.

    The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of Mississippi School of the Arts.

    Mr. Polk is the grandson of Bill and Carolyn Hogue of Naples, Fla., and Kenneth and Billie Polk of Jackson.

    The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School.

    Mr. Polk is employed by Ergon Refining Inc.
