White, Houston

Gordon and Ann White of DeKalb announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann, to Paul E. Houston, son of James and Brenda Houston of Philadelphia and Jerry and Myrna Cremeen of Jackson.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at 2 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church.

Miss White is the granddaughter of Margaret Allen of DeKalb and the late Parker Allen and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold White of Preston.

The bride-elect received an associate's degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Kemper Academy.

While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Miss White is employed as a registered nurse in pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Mr. Houston is the grandson of Margaret Poole of Philadelphia and Jessie Camario of Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Houston Sr. of Edinburg.

The bridegroom-elect received an associate's degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. He is a graduate of Neshoba Central High School.

Mr. Houston is employed as a registered nurse in the Neuro Science Intensive Care Unit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the ceremony.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
