Riley, Kozak

Kenny and Kathy Riley of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Shea, to Jason Allan Kozak, son of Allan and Diane Kozak of Richmond, Va.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Rhea Harbor Resort and Marina in Spring City, Tenn.

Miss Riley is the granddaughter of Lafloye Riley of Meridian and the late Lewis Riley and Edward Thrash of Meridian and the late Hazel Thrash.

The bride-elect received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

While attending USM, she was a member of the Student Nurses Association and the Baptist Student Union.

Miss Riley is employed by St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse in the medical surgical intensive care unit.

Mr. Kozak is the grandson of Andrew and Clara Kozak of Johnstown, Pa. and William and Joyce Podbielski of Erie, Pa.

The bridegroom-elect received a degree in aerospace engineering from the United States Naval Academy in 2004. He is a graduate of Hermitage High School.

While attending the Naval Academy, he served as 15th Company Executive Officer.

Mr. Kozak is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a pilot stationed at Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, N.C.

A reception will be held at Rhea Harbor Resort and Marina immediately following the ceremony.
