Daphne and Glenn Lancaster and Bruce and Betty Warner, all of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Chrissy D. Thomas, to Geoffrey E. Clendenon, son of Michael and Sandra Clendenon of Nashville, Tenn.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lauderdale.
Miss Thomas is the granddaughter of Dewitt and Alyce Warner, Arno and Winifred Vincent and the late Ruth Carr Vincent.
The bride-elect received an associate's degree in applied science from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA).
Miss Thomas is employed by Lab Corp.
Mr. Clendenon is the grandson of the late Art and Ann Clendenon and William B. Towry and Delia Norwood.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Nashville State Community College and Antioch High School.
Mr. Clendenon is employed by Pam Transportation.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the ceremony.
