James Curtis Pouncey and Cythia Everett Pouncey of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn, to Jonathan David Chappell, son of David Chappell of Pearl and Brenda List of Brandon.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at 6 p.m., at The Dunleith Plantation in Natchez.
Miss Pouncey is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Everett of Enterprise and the late Mr. Pete and Helen Pouncey of Fellowship.
The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in management from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
Miss Pouncey is currently employed as an education administrator for the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Department of Medicine, and is co-owner of Specialty Interiors.
Mr. Chappell is the grandson of Martha Neil Smith of Okolona and the late Robert Smith and the late Chester Chappell of Kosciusko and the late Milda Wooten Chappell of Carthage.
The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of Brandon High School.
While at USM, Mr. Chappell was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
Mr. Chappell is currently employed as a Medical Storage Specialist for AOS and is owner of Specialty Interiors.
