Mr. and Mrs. Kent Gray of Philadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Kaliah, to Thomas Jayroe Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Madison of Philadelphia.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Cooks Chapel United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.
Miss Gray is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Moore, all of Philadelphia, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sharp of Jackson.
The bride-elect received an associate's degree in applied science from Meridian Community College in 2006. She is a 2003 honors graduate of Neshoba Central High School.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society, Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), Health Information Technology Association and the Baptist Student Union.
Miss Gray is a certified registered health information technician and is the inpatient coder at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Mr. Madison is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Jayroe of Philadelphia and Tom Madison of Philadelphia and the late Vonia Madison.
The bridegroom-elect received an associate's degree in applied science from East Central Community College in 2000. He is a 1998 graduate of Neshoba Central High School.
While attending ECCC, he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society, Phi Beta Lambda, named to "Who's Who" and a member of the Wall O' Sound Marching Band.
Mr. Madison is the information technology manager at Hardy Manufacturing Co. Inc.
A reception will be held in the church family life center immediately following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
