Dearman, Dutton

Rocky Dearman and Debbie Linton of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Loren Dearman, to Jason Duane Dutton, son of Daniel Dutton of Trempeleau, Wisc., and Kathy Dutton of Daughin Island, Ala.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at 5:30 p.m. at Pushmataha Methodist Church in Pushmataha, Ala.

Miss Dearman is the granddaughter of Ben and Gaythel Dearman of Meridian and the late John and Doris Linton.

The bride-elect received a degree in psychology from Mississippi State University. She is a 2000 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.

Miss Dearman is employed by Weems Mental Health Center.

Mr. Dutton is the grandson of Dorothy Dutton of Trempeleau and the late Carl Dutton and the late Willis and Eloise Scarbrough.

The bridegroom-elect received his real estate license from Mississippi Realtor Institute and his home inspection license from the American Home Inspectors Institute. He is a 1997 graduate of Kemper Academy and attended East Mississippi Community College.

Mr. Dutton is employed by United Country Calvert and Associates, based out of Gulfport and serves as the president of Alert Home Inspections.

A reception will be held at Camp Binachi at 6:30 p.m. following the ceremony.
