Mike and Janet Culpepper of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Candace Brooke to Timothy Scott Neal, son of Mike and Donna Neal of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church.
Miss Culpepper is the granddaughter of John and June Culpepper of Cuba, Ala., and the late Robert F. Sanders and Sylvia Sanders of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University-Meridian, Meridian Community College and Southeast Lauderdale High School.
Miss Culpepper is employed by Meridian Surgical Center.
Mr. Neal is the grandson of Janell Neal of Meridian and the late Roland Neal and Willie J. Hedgepeth of Meridian and the late Helen Jo Hedgepeth.
The bridegroom-elect received a degree in electronics technology and telecommunications technology from Meridian Community College. He is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.
Mr. Neal is employed by AT&T.
