Gayle Hamilton of Meridian and Lee Jacob of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Anne Jacob, to Cory David Brown, son of Carol Hall of Meridian and Kirk Brown of Greeneville, S.C.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian.
Miss Jacob is the granddaughter of Mrs. Billy Hamilton of Meridian and Mrs. Marvin Jacob of Jackson.
The bride-elect received a bachelor of arts degree from The Evergreen State College. She is a graduate of The Education Center in Jackson.
Miss Jacob is employed by The Meridian Star as a reporter.
Mr. Brown is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cal Brown of Newton, N.H. and Eva Hodgins of Kingsport, N.H. and Randy Wentworth of Haverhill, N.H.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
Mr. Brown is employed at Rexel Inc.
