Randy and Lori King of Stonewall announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lauren, to Samuel Christopher Rhodes, son of Carroll and Wanda Rhodes of Quitman.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Quitman.
Miss King is the granddaughter of Ann Johnson of Stonewall and Gene Ivey of Meridian and John King of Stonewall and the late Louise King.
The bride-elect received her associate nursing degree from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Quitman High School.
Miss King is employed in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. Rhodes is the grandson of Annie Sue McRae of Quitman and the late C.D. McRae and Louise Rhodes of Crystal Springs and the late Edgar Rhodes.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School. He attended Jones County Junior College.
Mr. Rhodes is employed as an electrician with Woodall Electric in Meridian.
A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
