McAlister, Fuller

John B. McAlister of Newton and Sheila Hines of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Lain McAlister, to Christopher Cody Fuller, son of Margie Smith and Eddie Fuller of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the MSU Riley Center.

Miss McAlister is the granddaughter of Bobby and Edwina Cooper and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Leslie McAlister, all of Meridian.

The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in social work from Mississippi State University-Meridian campus. She graduated from Meridian High School.

While attending MSU-Meridian, she was a member of Phi Alpha honor society and treasurer of the Association of Student Social Workers.

Miss McAlister is employed as a case manager at Weems Mental Health Center.

Mr. Fuller is the grandson of the late Edward "Ray" and Barbara Fuller, A.J. Cook of Meridian and the late Ann Abate.

The bridegroom-elect is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University-Meridian campus. He is a graduate of Lamar High School.

Mr. Fuller is employed by Ron Smith and Associates.

A reception will be held at the MSU Riley Center immediately following the ceremony.
