Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Montgomery of Jacksonville, Fla., and Suzainne Montgomery of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Suzainne Montgomery, to William Daniel Calvert, son of Dr. Billy Calvert of DeKalb and Glenda Ennis of Livingston, Ala.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 6 p.m. at The Cole House in Philadelphia.
Miss Montgomery is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William C. McNeil of Philadelphia, the Rev. A.G. Montgomery of Grayson, Ky., and the late Maxine Montgomery.
The bride-elect received a master's degree in elementary education and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.
Miss Montgomery is employed by the Lauderdale County School System as a fifth grade teacher at West Lauderdale Middle School.
Mr. Calvert is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Calvert of DeKalb and the late Keith Perkins of Cuba, Ala., and Mary Perkins of Livingston.
The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of West Alabama. He is a graduate of Kemper Academy.
Mr. Calvert is employed by the Lauderdale County School System as a special education teacher at West Lauderdale Middle School.
A reception will be held at the Cole House following the ceremony.
