Gibbs, Parker

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Gibbs of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Noelle, to Christopher Brooks Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Parker of Hattiesburg.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.

Miss Gibbs is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Gibbs, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Don Polk, all of Hattiesburg.

The bride-elect is attending the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of Oak Grove High School.

Miss Gibbs is employed by Lowe's of Hattiesburg.

Mr. Parker is the grandson of Delores Parker of Quitman and the late Francis Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cranford of Quitman.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of William Carey University and Oak Grove High School.

Mr. Parker is employed by Mississippi Embroidery and Screenprinting.

A reception will be held at Lake Serene Clubhouse in Hattiesburg following the ceremony.
