— Elizabeth Kyndle Hand and Keith Allen Reed announce their engagement. Miss Hand is the daughter of Paul and Lori Hand of Butler, Ala. and Mr. Reed is the son of David and Betty Reed of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 19, 2008, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Butler.
Miss Hand is the granddaughter of Neil and Gail Oliver of Lisman, Ala. and Frank Hand Sr. of Butler, Ala. and the late Edna Dixon Hand.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian Community College with a degree from the X-ray technician program.
Miss Hand is employed at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. Reed is the grandson of the late David Reed Sr. of Louisville and the late Joe and Sue Troutman of Meridian and the late Ray and June Leonard of Clinton, Iowa.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.
Mr. Reed is employed by Southern Pipe and Supply as a software technician.He is also an active member of Lauderdale Emergency Management Agency and with the Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Department.
