Tucker, Stewart

Jo Anna Tucker and Chris Stewart announce their engagement. Miss Tucker is the daughter of the late Ann and Joe Tucker and Mr. Stewart is the son of Linda and Mack Stewart, of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at 2 p.m. at College Park United Methodist Church.

Miss Tucker is the granddaughter of Doris and Dale Mossburg of Lake Odessa, Mich., and the late Vinnie Estell and Benjamin Tucker.

The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in social work from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of Meridian High School.

Miss Tucker is employed by East Central Planning and Development District.

Mr. Stewart is the grandson of Alice Stewart of Meridian and the late Kit Stewart and Daisy Wade of Meridian and the late Joe Wade.

The bridegroom-elect received an associate's degree in graphic design from Meridian Community College.

While attending MCC, he was a member of the MCC Art Students League and the MCC Graphic Artist Association.

Mr. Stewart is employed by The Meridian Star.

A reception will be held at the church immediately following the ceremony.
