Mr. Chester Bradley Jr. and the late Irine J.H. Bradley of Rose Hill announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Constance Bradley, to Fredrick D. Tubbs, son of George King and Barbara King of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Bradley is the granddaughter of the late Sallie M.J. Hayes and Charlie Hayes, Clarice T. Bradley and Chester Bradley Sr. of Paulding.
The bride-elect received a master’s degree in adult health and nursing administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a 1992 graduate of Heidelberg High School.
While attending USM, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Phi Kappa Phi and the Golden Key Society.
Miss Bradley is employed by Meridian Community College, where she is an associate degree nursing instructor, and by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Tubbs is the grandson of the late John E. Ellis and Annie D. Ellis and the late Sarah King of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1993 graduate of Meridian High School.
Mr. Tubbs is employed by New South Ford as business manager.
A reception will be held at the Temple Theater Ballroom.
The couple will make their home in Rose Hill.
