Ken and Angela Davis of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Kaye, to Daniel Ray Winstead, son of Doug Winstead and Debbie Keyes, formerly of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church.
Miss Davis is the granddaughter of Milo K. Beesley Jr. of Meridian and the late Mildred Mills Beesley and the late Harlan "Red" Davis and the late Marguerite Gunn Davis of Meridian.
The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Mississippi State University. She received an associate's degree from Meridian Community College and is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the official communicationa studies honor society.
Miss Davis is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Winstead is the grandson of Gene Winstead of Long Beach and the late Barbara Winstead and the late Paul Lucas and the late Carol Lucas of Gulfport.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School.
Mr. Winstead is an active member of the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
A reception will be held at the church family life center immediately following the ceremony.

Ms. Dunagan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard M. Harrell of Jackson, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. Wilson of Grove Hill.
The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Culverhouse School of Accountancy at the University of Alabama, where she graduated with honors. She is a graduate of Grove Hill Academy.
Ms. Dunagan is employed as an accountant at Big 10 Tires in Mobile, Ala.
Mr. Miller is the grandson of Dorothy Miller of Meridian and the late A.H. Miller, andthe late Sue Winfield Clay of Bailey and the late Terrell Calvin Winfield of West Point.
The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi and an associate’s degree from Meridian Community College. He is a graduate of Southeast High School.
While attending Meridian Community College, he was a member of the Baptist Student Union and Phi Theta Kappa. He was named MCC Circle of Excellence and an H.M. Ivy Scholar.
Mr. Miller is employed by George County Schools of Lucedale.

Miss Keenan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Puckett of Scott County and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Keenan of Rose Hill.
The bride-elect received her master’s degree in telecommunications and film from the University of Alabama and her bachelor’s degree in communications from Mississippi State University. She is a 2001 graduate of Heidelberg Academy.
Miss Keenan is employed by East Central Community College as a speech instructor.
Mr. Covich is the grandson of Mary Fay and the late Alfred Fay of Columbia, and Shannon Covich of Biloxi and the late Jerry M Covich II.
The bridegroom-elect received his master’s degree in sports administration and his bachelor’s degree in sports communications from Mississippi State University. He is a 1998 graduate of Lamar School.
Mr. Covich is employed by Meridian Community College as head golf coach and sports information director.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the Leo Seal M-Club building on the MSU campus.

Ms. Lamb is the daughter of Mrs. Marvin Holcombe Waller and the late Mr. Waller of Oxford. Mr. Gordon is the son of Circuit Court Judge and Mrs. Marcus D. Gordon of Union.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday June 21, 2008, at antebellum Clear Creek Baptist Church in Oxford. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lucius Waller of Oxford, and Mr. and Mrs. Nevy Franklin Saunders of Batesville.
Ms. Lamb received a bachelor's degree in home economics from the University of Mississippi, She is a graduate of Oxford High School.
The bride-elect is a national board certified educator in career and technical education. She is a former teacher at Water Valley High School.
Ms. Lamb is currently employed as a career discovery teacher at Lafayette Middle School in Oxford.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Pauline Germany Matthews and the late Hugh W. Matthews and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Benton Gordon, all of Union.
Mr. Gordon earned a bachelor's degree in biological sciences, a master of education degree and a specialist in education degree in educational leadership, all from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He received an associate of science degree from East Central Community College in Decatur and is an honors graduate of Union High School,
The bridegroom-elect is currently completing requirements for a doctor of philosophy degree in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is a former educator in the Oxford, South Panola and Lafayette County school districts.
Mr. Gordon is currently an advanced science teacher and science department chairman at Philadelphia High School.
Following the ceremony and a honeymoon on an eastern Caribbean cruise to Puerto Rico, Barbados and other islands in the West Indies, the couple will make their home in Oxford.

The bridgreoom-elect revived an associate's degree in drafting and design from Meridian Community College.

The bride-elect received a master's degree in secondary English in 2006 from Louisiana Tech University and a bachelor's degree in English in 2001 from Louisiana Tech University. She is a graduate of Doyline High School.
While attending Louisiana Tech, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and an orientation student leader. She is currently on the Alpha Chi Omega Advisory Board and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.
Miss Stewart is employed by Bossier Parish Schools and teaches at Haughton High School.
