Sodoma, Thornton

Kristen Sodoma and Robert Thornton announce their engagement. The wedding will be held Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 6 p.m. at Scottsville Road Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky.

Miss Sodoma is the daughter of Steve and Renea Sodoma of Meridian and Janet Reed of Meridian.

Miss Sodoma is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sodoma and Mr. and Mrs. Donnell Linton, all of Meridian.

The bride-elect will graduate in August 2008 with a bachelor's degree in social work from Western Kentucky University. She is a 2004 graduate of Greenwood High School in Bowling Green, Ky.

Mr. Thornton is the son of Tim and Cathy Thornton and Steve and Diane Waters, all of Bowling Green.

The bridegroom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Warren Central High School in Bowling Green.

Mr. Thornton has worked as an industrial electrician for the past nine years in and around Bowling Green.

A reception will be held at the Warren Association of Baptists building located next door to the church in Bowling Green.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
