Morgan, Boone

Ron and Sylvia Morgan of Quitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Gabrielle, to Matthew Boone, son of Dr. Randy and Becky Boone of Grove Hill, Ala.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Quitman.

Miss Morgan is the granddaughter of Woody and Etta Mae Jones of Quitman, Bruce and Carol Dees of Enterprise and Charlie Morgan and the late Brenda Morgan of Quitman. She is the great-granddaughter of Emily Morgan and the late Pete Morgan of Butler, Ala.

The bride-elect received an associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of Quitman High School.

Miss Morgan is employed by Total Pain Care, LLC in Meridian.

Mr. Boone is the grandson of Raymond and Francis Smith of Lucedale and Sue Boone and the late H.M. Boone of Mobile, Ala.

The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of arts in history and political science from the University of South Alabama. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in athletic administration at Mississippi College. He is a graduate of Quitman High School.

Mr. Boone is employed by Newton County High School as a teacher/baseball coach.

A reception will be held at Pleasant Hill's Fellowship Hall.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
