Harris, Hicks

Jill Davidson of Meridian and Brian and Michelle Swink of Medina, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Krista LeShelle Harris, to Michael Cody Hicks, son of Dennis and Veronica Hicks of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Destin, Fla.

Ms. Harris is the granddaughter of A.L. and Clarice Davidson of Meridian and Gary and Midge Swink of Humbolt, Tenn.

The bride-elect received an associate's of arts degree from Meridian Community College and is pursuing a degree in radiologic technology from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Enterprise High School.

Ms. Harris is employed by North Hills Dental Associates and is a gym assistant at Suzie McCraw School of Dance.

Mr. Hicks is the grandson of Kenneth and Fran Boardman, Leonard and Beth Byrd and W.E. and Gail Hicks, all of Meridian, and Alvin Hayes of Gulfport.

The bridegroom-elect graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Mississippi College. He is a graduate of Enterprise High School.

Mr. Hicks is employed by Blake Publishing in Brandon.

Family and friends are invited to a wedding reception on Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church on Highway 19 North.
