Ethridge, McNeal

The chapel of First Baptist Church in Jackson will be the setting for the Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, wedding of Amy Elizabeth Ethridge and Tyler Seth McNeal.

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Parents of the couple are Loyde Timothy Ethridge and Elizabeth Waring Harbaugh, both of Vicksburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug McNeal of Meridian.

Miss Ethridge is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Waring of Vicksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Loyde Ethridge of Hartwell, Ga.

The bride-elect received a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications from Belhaven College. She is a graduate of Saint Aloysius High School.

While attending St. Aloysius, she was a member of the high school dance and track teams, serving as captain of each. She also was crowned homecoming queen in 2004.

Miss Ethridge is employed by the American Red Cross, Central Mississippi Chapter.

Mr. Tyler is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray McNeal of Meridian, Hazel Spence of Bailey and the late James Jones of Meridian.

The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a minor in marketing from Belhaven College. He is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.

While attending Belhaven, he was a member of the college's football team, of which he was named captain and earned All-Conference honors.

Mr. McNeal is employed by Hibbett Sports.

A reception will be held in the Forestry Auditorium of the Mississippi Agriculture Museum.
