Burleigh, Malley

Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Burleigh announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Lauren, to Lance Steven Malley, son of Paul Malley of Long Beach and Peggy Malley of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Friday, June 13, 2008, at Immaculate Conception Church in Lakeland, La.

Miss Burleigh is the granddaughter of Marjorie Plauche of New Roads, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Burleigh of Jarreau, La.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Catholic High of Pointe Coupee and Louisiana State University.

Miss Burleigh is employed by Verizon Wireless as sales manager.

Mr. Malley is the grandson of Esther Welford and the late Johnie Welford of Lucedale and Edice Malley and the late Steven Malley of Long Beach.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and Louisiana State University and has completed his master's degree in architecture. He is currently working on a master's degree in fine arts at LSU. He is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School,

Mr. Malley is employed by The Architectural Studio of Baton Rouge.
