McCommon, Moffett





Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. McCommon of Amory announce the engagement of his daughter, Stacy Nicole, to Christopher James Moffett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. "Cotton" Moffett of Meridian. Miss McCommon is also the daughter of the late Jackie F. McCommon.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 4 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church.

Miss McCommon is the granddaughter of the late James McCommon and Oren and Betty Buskirk of Nettleton.

The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of Mississippi. She is currently pursuing a degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Amory High School

While attending the University of Mississippi, she was a member of the Ole Miss Softball Team.

Mr. Moffett is the grandson of Inell Moffett of Meridian and the late Charles R. Moffett and Louise Culpepper of Meridian and the late James Culpepper.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian Community College and attended the University of Mississippi. He is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

While attending MCC, he played baseball.

Mr. Moffett is employed by Engineering Plus and UPS.

A reception will be held at the Temple Theater Ballroom immediately following the ceremony.
