Shewmake, McLean





Mr. and Mrs. James Warren Shewmake of Fulton announce the engagement of their daughter, Bridgett Loree, to Arthur Botter McLean III, son of Joann Brewer McLean of Mobile, Ala., and the late Arthur Botter McLean Jr.

The wedding reception is planned for Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Champion House in Thomasville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Gray Shewmake of Jackson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Danny Lee James of Fulton.

Miss Shewmake received a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Alabama. She is a graduate of Meridian High School.

Miss Shewmake is a board certified music therapist and is currently employed by Grove Hill United Methodist Church.

Mr. McLean is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Botter McLean Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Brewer, all of Mobile.

The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor of arts degree in communications and print journalism, with a minor in political science from the University of South Alabama. He is a graduate of BC Rain High School.

Mr. McLean is currently editor and general manager of the Thomasville Times and owns McLean Photography.

Family and friends are invited to attend the wedding; no invitations will be sent.
