Gordon, Culhane

Perry Gordon of Lauderdale and Candy and John Ammon of Palmetto, Fla., announce the of their daughter, Whitney Austyn Gordon, to William "Billy" Michael Culhane Jr., son of William Culhane Sr. of Bradenton, Fla.

The wedding will be held Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at the Sandbar on Anna Maria Island in Florida.

Miss Gordon is the granddaughter of Sylvia J. McMinn of Lauderdale and the late Eddie Bob McMinn and the late Jack and Gracie Gordon of Lauderdale.

The bride-elect is pursuing a degree in hospitality from the University of South Florida. She is a graduate of East Mississippi Community College and Northeast Lauderdale High School.

Miss Gordon is employed as a special events coordinator at the Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island.

Mr. Culhane is the grandson of the late Eileen Culhane.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Manatee High School.

Mr. Culhane is employed at the Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island.

The reception will be held under the pavilion at the Sandbar following the beach ceremony.
