Thompson, Boswell

Mr. and Mrs. Doug Thompson and Lisa Mimbs of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Paige Thompson, to Kyle M Boswell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boswell of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Carmel Baptist Church in Meridian.

Miss Thompson is the granddaughter of Auzella Thompson and the late Raymond E. Thompson of Meridian, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Davidson of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. John Harrington Jr. of Gulfport.

The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree in secondary social studies education from Mississippi State University. She is a graduate of Northeast High School.

While attending MSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Sigma Alpha Lambda.

Mr. Boswell is the grandson of Maurice J. Boswell and the late Sara Boswell of Meridian and Bobbie F. Northcott and the late Harold Williams of Meridian.

The bridegroom-elect currently attends Meridian Community College, where he is enrolled in the nursing program. He is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

While attending MCC, he is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club.
