LaBruyere, Hargrove

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. LaBruyere of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee Nicole, to Blake Alexander Hargrove, son of the late Lynn and Jeffery Hargrove of Meridian.

The wedding will be Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 6 p.m. at Halekai III in Gulf Shores, Ala.

Miss LaBruyere is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucius S. LaBruyere Jr. of Hoover, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Adams Sr. of Hughes, Ark.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a bachelor of fine arts degree and a master’s degree in business administration. She is also a graduate of Meridian High School.

Miss LaBruyere owns and operates LaBruyere Photography.

Mr. Hargrove is the grandson of June Smelley and Jimmy Hargrove Sr. of Tuscaloosa, Ala.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in software engineering. He is also a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.

Mr. Hargrove is employed by Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Ala.

The reception will be held at the Halekai III House.
