Meridian High School inducts 60-plus to National Honor Society

MERIDIAN —     The Meridian High School Chapter of the National Honor Society recently inducted more than 60 students.

    To be eligible for membership, students must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade-point-average and pass a faculty review committee that judges applicants based on character, service, leadership and scholarship.

    The 2012-13 National Honor Society officers are: Kajol Champaneri, president; Laura Huff, vice president; Kelly Offenberger, secretary; Tanner Goldman, treasurer; and Angela Fowler, reporter. NHS advisers are Laura Crocker and Shauna Waters.

    The inductees are:
