    Here's a look at upcoming programs and events at Meridian and Lauderdale County public, private, faith-based and home schools:    

Dec. 20

    • Poplar Spring Elementary Giving Feast, 9 a.m., school auditorium. Now in its 27th year, the Giving Feast benefit Wesley House Community Center. During the month, students have brought new toys and bikes, which will be given to those in need through Wesley House.

Jan. 6, 2014

    • MCC reopens for spring registration.

     • Continuing Education session, Emergency First Response. Classes also scheduled for Jan. 13 and 20.

Jan. 10
