Northeast Middle School students honored for academic accomplishments

MERIDIAN —     The academic accomplishments of more than 450 Northeast Lauderdale Middle School were recognized recently at the school's annual Awards Program.

    Held at the historic Temple Theatre in downtown Meridian, the event was attended by more than 1,000 parents and families, according to NLMS Principle Billy Burnham. Students were recognized in various areas, including Superintendent’s List for earning all A’s, Principal’s List for earning A’s and B’s, and individual awards as presented by teachers for each grade and discipline area.
