MERIDIAN —

    Services for Roy Christopher King will be held today, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter United Methodist Church-Marion, with the Rev. Scottie Cole officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. King, 41, of Lancaster, Texas, died Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He served in the United States Army.

    Survivors include his wife, Trinette King; two daughters: Amber and Areil Green; parents, Roy and Sarah King; sister, Stephanie King; grandmother, Cynthia Coleman Friend; and, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
