• 6 p.m.— The Meridian Chapter of the Miss. Valley State University Alumni Association will have their meeting at the council of organizations building, 814 45th Ave. All alumni in the surrounding area are asked to attend. • 8 a.m. until - Fundraiser event for 14-year-old Morgan Parker, who has cystic fibrosis and needs organ transplants that will cost $200,000. Event will feature a yard sale, antique and street rod show, raffle, auction, BBQ plates, music, and dancing. Will be held at the Legion Hut on Hwy. 15 in Decatur. Tina Howell for 11 years of dedicated service. The Guest speaker will be Rev. Randall Bohannon, pastor of East Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Meridian and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of DeKalb. Song service will be rendered by the East Mt. Moriah Church Choir.

• First day of Revival at Blue Springs Baptist Church in Chunky on Chunky Duffee Rd., approximately three miles north of I 20. Evangelist: Brother Kelly Tingle, pastor of Enon Baptist Church in Union. Revival runs June 7 - 12.

• 80th Annual Session of East Mississippi Baptist Stat Congress of Christian Education will convene at the El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. 2300 State Boulevard. Pre-musical will begin at 6 p.m. Also dont miss the Battle of Choirs, at 6 p.m. same location.
