Precepts Wealth Managements expands Meridian operations

MERIDIAN —     Precepts Wealth Management announced it has merged with Summit Wealth Group and will be expanding their current team in Meridian with the addition of Daniel Stewart.

Summit Wealth Group is an independently owned and operated wealth management firm with offices located in Colorado, Mississippi and Arizona. The merged organization will manage over $384 million in client assets, with the goal of becoming one of the top independent wealth management firms in the U.S., according to a company press release.

Stewart will be joining the team from One Life Insurance Group where he has assisted clients with various wealth management needs.

“I have a lot of admiration for the firm Gary James has built and how he has serviced his clients,” said Randy Morris, founder of Summit Wealth Group. “This merger will give both firms additional leverage to serve our clients better and to offer a broader wealth management experience.”

“The merger expands and extends our ability to serve our clients,” said James, founder of Precepts Wealth Management. “With broader support and services, we can focus more on what we do best: helping our clients achieve their most important financial goals.”

For more than 13 years, James and his staff have been assisting clients in every aspect of their financial lives, providing the most personal service available, the press release states.

“It is rare to find the kind of alignment our firms have,” noted Morris. “Together, we hope to help people navigate the path to a better, more secure future.”

The Summit Wealth Group Meridian office will be holding an Open House on Thursday, Feb. 27, from noon until 6 p.m. and welcomes visitors.
