MERIDIAN —     Lisa Lindley was named in December as the new personal care activities director at Aldersgate Retirement Community.

Lindley grew up in Marion and currently serves the town as Alderman. For 19 years, Lindley managed the medical clinic of her father, Dr. John Lindley. She is an MSU graduate of Interior Design and has a law degree from Mississippi College.

Lindley is married to Pete McCleskey, principal of Kemper Academy.

Lindley hosted her first activity last week at Aldersgate, which was presented by Dede Mogollon, executive director of Lauderdale County Tourism Bureau.

Mogollon reviewed some of the rich history and many attractions that Meridian has to offer, including the Jimmie Rodgers events, the fully restored Grand Opera House and the Dentzel Carousel.

"Being part of the Meridian community is important to our residents, as well as being part of the Aldersgate family," Lindley said. "I am blessed to work here, at a place that promotes such wonderful Christian love”.
