John C. McRae, who is a member of Citizens National Bank’s Wealth Management Division, as well as a Branch Manager and Senior Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, has received national recognition.
While there are currently 638 Raymond James Advisors nationwide who are affiliated with a financial institution, McRae is one of only six who have been named to the 2014 Raymond James Chairman’s Council. Chairman’s Council honors are presented to Financial Advisors who have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to personal service and professional integrity.
McRae is also the only Financial Advisor within Raymond James’ Financial Institutions Division to receive this recognition within the state of Mississippi. McRae joined Citizens National Bank in 1992 as an Officer Trainee and launched the Bank’s Investment Department shortly thereafter. In addition to serving as a Raymond James Financial Advisor, McRae is also responsible for oversight of the additional Raymond James offices that are housed in Citizens National Bank’s Meridian and Hattiesburg locations.
During his tenure with the Bank, McRae has received national recognition on numerous occasions for exceptional service to his clients. Most recently, he was recognized by Bank Investment Consultant magazine as one of the top 100 Bank Advisors in the nation for 2013. A leading publication in the bank investment services industry, Bank Investment Consultant also named McRae to their list of the Top 50 bank advisors in the country in 2011, and to their exclusive list of the Top 5 Program Managers in 2010.
According to Archie McDonnell, President & CEO of Citizens National Bank, “John McRae has worked very hard on his own and leveraged his opportunities with Citizens National Bank and Raymond James to achieve this honor of being named to the prestigious Chairman’s Council. John has accomplished this through hard work and through his commitment to do the right things for his clients."
"John has put in the work and leveraged the customer base of Citizens National Bank and the financial products and services of Raymond James Financial Services to make the relationships he has built over time a win/win for everyone privileged to be a client of his and these two organizations. I’m mostly proud of John because he has done it on his own through hard work, integrity, and by caring for his client base. Few others are willing to work hard enough to deliver the same or similar level of advice and service,” Archie added.
In his acceptance of this award, McRae said: “I feel very fortunate to be associated with Citizens National Bank and Raymond James. Both institutions share the same vision of honesty, integrity, and a commitment to keep their customers’ best interest at heart. Both Citizens and Raymond James also have a conservative approach to investments and are strong and stable organizations.
"We are focused on consistent, long-term results and in communicating regularly with our clients because we care about our relationships with them individually. We also believe in keeping them well informed regarding the performance of their investments,” McRae added.
