Scaggs to serve

on LOVE's Kitchen board



Skip Scaggs was chosen recently to serve on the board of director's of LOVE's Kitchen in Meridian. Founded in 1983 by the late Judge Billy Neville, LOVE's – which stands for Lauderdale Outreach Volunteer Effort – is dedicated to feeding hungry people in Meridian and Lauderdale County.

Scaggs is manager of business development for the East Mississippi Business Development Corp.

The soup kitchen recently began serving supper and now serves nearly 500 meals a day. Prior to the supper addition, the soup kitchen served about 60 for breakfast and between 260-295 lunches, Monday through Saturday. manager of business development for the East Mississippi Business Development Corp.
