Davis joins Citizens National Bank



Amy Davis has joined Citizens National Bank as a human resources manager at the bank’s corporate office in Meridian.

Prior to her employment with the Bank, Davis served as a group fitness instructor for Jeff Anderson Health and Fitness Center and Meridian Community College. She is also a former account executive for Ideal Software Solutions, a former human resources manager for Applied Geo Technologies, and a managing partner of Shi-Nell Industries, LLC.

She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University, Meridian Campus, with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Davis has one daughter, Savannah, who is 6 years old. They attend Northpointe Presbyterian Church in Meridian.





Mitchell awarded

CFP Professional



Gerry Mitchell, of the Meridian office of Wachovia Securities, recently earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner Professional.

As a CFP professional, Gerry can now offer general personal financial planning and implementation (both short- and long-term), investment and risk management advice, retirement planning counseling, estate planning, insurance evaluation and comprehensive portfolio reviews.

To become a CFP professional, Gerry had to demonstrate ability to analyze and develop personal financial plans. He also had to successfully complete a series of rigorous financial planning courses and examinations offered by the college of financial planning.

Gerry lives in Meridian with his wife, Hope, and their two children, Eli and Meredith. He has been with Wachovia Securities since 2004.
