Loeb's named "Elite Retailer of the Year"

Meridian clothier Loeb's has received the 2007 Elite Retailer of the year award from Jim's Formal Wear. Jim's is the largest formalwear distribution network in the U.S. with over 6,000 independent retailers. They provide tuxedo rental services for weddings, prom, and black tie events. The award is based on rental volume, order accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
Loeb's has been renting tuxedos from Jim's since 2004. According to Steve Davis, Vice-President of Marketing for Jim's, "Our Elite Retailer of the Year recipients are among the best when it comes to men's formalwear rental and sales. They are extremely focused on the customer for the most important events in their lives. We're proud to have retailers like this in our nationwide network."

MMHA selects new
president

Bob McHann was recently selected to serve as president of the Meridian Mental Health Association. McHann is Branch Director of the Meridian Division of Medicaid, where he has worked since 1980. He also serves on the Single Parent Advisory Board at Meridian Community College.
McHann is a single parent of two children and grandfather of five. He is a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church. He grew up in the Baptist Children's Village in Jackson. He holds a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University.
