Cellular South Pops concert set for July 4

Make plans to be at Bonita Lakes for this year's exciting 4th of July festivities sponsored by Cellular South.

This fun and free celebration includes a performance of patriotic music by the Meridian Symphony Orchestra and Meridian Symphony Chorus, with an NAS flyover, starting at 8 p.m. A gigantic fireworks show sponsored by the city of Meridian, beginning at approximately 9 p.m., is sure to thrill the crowd.

Food vendors will be ready to serve at 4 p.m., or those attending can pack a picnic.

Free shuttles to the stage area will be provided by the Meridian Transit Service, and City of Meridian Cultural Affairs from the Bonita Lakes Mall parking lot. Park your vehicle next to Shoe Carnival and catch the free shuttles starting at 5 p.m. The last shuttle will run at 8 p.m. The same shuttles will pick up riders from the drop location and return them to their vehicles at the conclusion of the Fireworks Show, returning as many times as needed.
