Cambiata Singers Perform Sunday

The Meridian Cambiata Singers, formed in October 2007 as part of Company of Angels, will present its first formal concert this Sunday, March 30, at 2 p.m. The concert will be given in the parish hall at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1116 23rd Ave. Cambiata Singers is an auditioned group of young singers ages 9-18 under the direction of Dr. Bob Hermetz. Mr. David Benson and Ms. Martha Barnett serve as co-directors. The program will feature four-part sacred works by John Rutter and a spirited Moses Hogan arrangement of "Every Time I Feel the Spirit." Also on the program are medleys from three Broadway shows: "Annie," "Oliver," and two rousing favorites from the group's upcoming production in May of George M. Cohan's "Give My Regards To Broadway." This is a free concert.
