Sarah Moomaw / The Meridian Star Meridian Community College formally dedicated the basketball court in Graham Gymnasium to former MCC coach Jim Redgate (center). He spent 30 years with the Eagles, starting in 1971. During his tenure, Redgate coached men's basketball and golf. He is a former Meridian High School coach and is currently the cross-country coach at Lamar School. The ceremony took place in between a basketball doubleheader on Monday night. MCC President Scott Elliott (right) and former-president Dr. Bill Scaggs (left) presented Redgate a plaque.
