Premier FC U12 girls won the 30th annual Crossroads of the South soccer tournament October 26-27 in Jackson. In bracket play, the team beat Gulf Coast United 2-0, Hattiesburg Storm 4-1 and Shreveport United 2-1.  In the championship game, they tied Louisiana Fire 2-2 at the end of regulation and overtime.  The game was decided on kicks with goalkeeper Katelynn Gipson making two saves to secure the victory.  Pictured are (front row kneeling L to R):  Angela Ross, Kat Torrance, Katelynn Gipson (with ball), Anna Claire Nance and Molly Moore.  Back row (standing L to R):  Railey Mayatt, Kathryn Knuth, Alice Williamson, Anna Card, Mackenzie Britt and Riley Thompson.  Back row is Coach Leon Powell.  The team is currently ranked No. 1 in Mississippi and No. 16 nationally.  Next up for the team is the Adidas Invitational in Germantown, Tenn. on November 23-24.
