UWA, Alabama Fire College announce degree

Representatives of the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards Commision met with representatives of the University of West Alabama on Monday to commemorate the signing of an agreement that enables UWA to offer academic degree credit to students at AFC. Students will be allowed to transfer up to approximately 40 hours of training toward a bachelor's degree in technology in the new program that will launch with the fall semester beginning in August.
