50th anniversary

— Family and friends of Bob and Toni Blackwell will host a 50th wedding anniversary reception on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, from 2 p.m-4 p.m., at the Decatur Country Club, 15627 Highway 503 South. The couple married at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Nov. 23, 1958, in Meridian. They have one daughter, Tonette, and her husband, Mark Cochran, and two grandsons, Tyler and T.J. Earlier this year, the Blackwells enjoyed a trip to Hawaii and cruised four of the islands. The couple requests no gifts.
